1.
For A While 02:49
1 For a while (Damien Morisseau/ Julien Schmidt) Where did my childhood go Where is the yard I used to grow The birds aren’t singing anymore. I’ve crossed the city at night Never really been in any fight Not feeling up for any war. New hope and a star to shine In a minute I will make you mine No more waiting at the door Runnin’ fast in the dawn I knew it wouldn’t be long Till I met you in a hurry I’m only here for a while
2.
Wallpaper 02:46
2 Wallpaper (Julien Schmidt) It’s cold in here but they nearly settle down The house I lived in is no more in the dark, so long I don’t belong here anymore The silence here is what I need for a while Like a storm, I heard the door slamming loud and clear, I feel away from home Layers of wallpaper display my life In a house I’m holding on to. By the time, I’ll be released I might have to share my home A lasting soul in every stone all around Familiar roses on the wall are getting bright, They glow. An apparition shining low. Now my bruises didn’t heal, I’m so tired now, though I hold on to my old house. By the time, I’ll be released I might have to share my home.
3.
Awakening 04:33
3 Awakening (Julien Schmidt) Feel the wind as a guide, Blowing on your back, Wondering about your life. Your steps on the muddy ground Would lead to the town You’ll walk in the whirlwind Till it’s calm at the dawn Comin’ from the hillside, The river flows ahead Find a meaning of life At the end of the path Inner light on a journey to a shrine. The thoughts and the strain you’re under Fade in the end Walkin’ from the meadow to the hill, Then the sand. Comin’ from the hillside, The river flows ahead Stare at the road for a while Getting closer you smile By the light of the moon, See what you’ve done.
4.
Hey There 03:35
4 Hey there (Damien Morisseau) Hey there, life is showing up from nowhere Out of the blue Don’t miss that day We finally arose from the dark Wake up our morning had begun now What should we do? Give up or let go The others have been waiting way too long So long, now it’s time to go and move on, it’s up to you Rely on a shadow or embrace the promise here today. Hey there, life is showing up from nowhere.
5.
5 Walled in head (Julien Schmidt) If to live I’ve to escape from this place I’d better have a plan I’ve been running in the dark, through the park of my old wonderland It’s unreal, deep in my head Wanna hide for a while Where do I go now? I know Where do I go, I know. Reading skulls all filled of dreams From the hill, They’ll always keep me here. May that cool breeze in my head still remain to try until the end. It’s unreal, deep in my head Wanna hide for a while Where do I go now? I know Where do I go, I know. And the figures of darkness Ruined my mind. What I’ll carve in my hand, A recovery doesn’t last too long What I’ll carve in my hand, Be with you.

6 I thought they were dead trees (Julien Schmidt)
7.
Freewheeling 05:44
7 Freewheeling (Julien Schmidt) Once my soul is freewheeling Never let go Can’t keep track of the talking around, hear a white noise As the blurry gets clear, pain is revealed Well, I have to hold on And get loud Stuck in the big wheel World spins, I stay here  The shallow water I drown in. Didn’t I tell you, a while ago, About the hidden, roaring fears? They grew higher and higher I swallow the pill in my hand It says "trust in you" Far from the vacuum of thoughts Blowing away my view. I swallow the pill in my hand  When love's more a trap than a shelter.
8.
8 Golden luxury (Damien Morisseau/ Julien Schmidt) It’s just a little late To rely on our untenable way Of growing with no care. We took it all for granted, Any single trace Of all that lives down here, We might feel the burn indeed Lying on a golden luxury, to sink and fall down In a cup filled up to the brim Stay away from my home, They noticed what we’ve done We all noticed what we’ve done
9.
9 Heading to Big Sur (Julien Schmidt) Well, I want to feel it now, right away, Disappearing in the night, forget about pain. A dark haze killed you there my love, I’ll be heading to the land you dreamed to belong to. I still hear you say head north and go, by the ocean, on the cliffs, we can watch our love grow. The tide and the wind will take you away, now your ashes are all slowly drifting from my hand. I could be the light house keeper. Let her go, out of my mind. From now on, I don’t mean to be the same, cursed by your soul. The fog on the hill will soon swallow me. Feel surrounded by your soul and your voice in the mist. The ridge of a cliff mirrored in the sea Can’t get over it, your halo still shines around me.
10.
The Choir 03:59
10 The choir (Damien Morisseau/ Julien Schmidt) Raisin’ my head Feelin’ like a Red Left my burden home The field’s my only goal Me and dad Under the same wave Those were the days One body and a prayer And in the middle of the crowd, you’ll see how we shine.
11.
11 Timeless love (Julien Schmidt) And if you’d sleep for a thousand years Would your eyes unfold as a morning light A few decades allowed to live. Try to fulfill a whole life in that short time span. But no one can believe in that timeless love I hope you will Words to ease try to hide my fears Lay your head down breathe in May you sleep tight. But no one can believe in that timeless love I hope you will

about

Enfin, un bel instrumental au piano, I Thought They Were Dead Trees, clôt délicatement la première face.
